Ingredients
1 c. plus 2 tbsp Flour
½ tsp. Baking Soda
A pinch of Salt
½ c. softened Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
½ c. Sugar
¼ c. packed Light Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 c. Red and Green Candy-Coated Chocolates
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a bowl, mash together the butter, vanilla, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet and mix until just blended.
- Stir in the chocolates, adding 1 tsp. of water if necessary to help mix.
- Drop batter by tablespoon onto greased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
makes 18 cookies
